I am using allvideos player.After much searching and help from this forum and others I used the tag:

{flvremote}http://mywebsite/images/stories/videos/dispute.flv&image=http://www.tricastvideo.com/images/stories/videos/dispute.jpg{/flvremote}

to show a preview image on a remote server.
As I happily tried to show my wife the new video on my Iphone......ooops........oh yeah, that Apple and Adobe flash thingy reared it's ugly head (flash doesn't work on iphones....)
So,
I'd like to do the same with an mp4 file.

I thought the tag would be the same with the exception of changing the flvremote to mp4remote.
It does not seem to work. Any ideas or suggestions?

here is the page in question http://www.tricastvideo.com/special-fx/testing

the original flvremote video is showing
directly under that there should be a mp4 video showing

I have a similiar problem..
http://fotbollskane.se/div-4-5/division ... t-lunds-bk

I can't understand how I could add a preview of this movie..

This is the tag that I am using, {mp4remote}http://gallery.me.com/thomas.welander/100194/FIK-LundsBK%20DM%20-%20stor.m4v{/mp4remote}

Do I need to create an image to get a preview or is there any tag that could solve this problem..?

Many thanks!

.
The AllVideos Plugin uses the QuickTime player for the {mp4remote} tag, and the {mp4} tag.
QuickTime does not support preview images.
Take the image URL out of the tag and it should appear.

QuickTime downloads the first frame of the video and displays that.

Note that iDumb devices do not support autoplay, so keep that in mind.
